The Cure for Obesity
Obesity is a disease. You don't cure a disease by starving yourself with crash diets.
We are pretty sure that obesity isn't caused by a bacteria or a virus. It isn't caused by injury to some part of your body.
That leaves only one option... a deficiency.
There are certain things your body needs to be disease free. If you remove all of the vitamin C from your diet, you will get scurvy. That's just a fact.
If you get scurvy, does it help to starve yourself with a crash diet? No. You eat a lime or an orange or something that has vitamin C and the scurvy goes away.
Being fat is a symptom of a problem. It is not the problem itself. It is the symptom of a disease we call obesity.
Your body knows how to repair itself. Whenever there is disease, it is because of one of the following factors:
1. Injury or stress. You either had a physical trauma that damaged an organ of your body that is involved in fighting the disease in question or you have physically stressed your body with small injuries so much that it can't keep up with repairs.
2. A pathogen such as a virus or bacteria is damaging your body at a faster rate than your body can perform repairs.
3. You are deficient in some raw material (vitamin, mineral, macronutrient, micronutrient, etc) that your body requires to perform repairs.
4. A genetic weakness is being exploited by one of the above.
With obesity, we know that the genetic component is very small. The United States has the highest rate of obesity in the world and may be one of the most genetically diverse countries in the entire world.
Injury, stress and pathogens are also minor components in the case of obesity. We know that the United States doesn't suffer more injuries, stress or pathogens than other countries with a lower obesity rate.
That leaves a deficiency.
Further evidence of a deficiency is the fact that we see immigrants to the U.S. become fat as soon as they start eating the standard American diet. And we are seeing an exportation of obesity as the standard American diet is exported to other countries.
Just like scurvy, the problem is a deficiency. You can't solve a deficiency problem by starving yourself. You solve a deficiency problem by eating MORE of what your body needs to do the repairs.
That is the cure to obesity.
Unfortunately, there is more than one nutrient causing the deficiency in the American diet. And there are several poisons in the standard American diet that cause a lower absorption of the nutrients that your body needs.
The answer isn't to eat less though. You can't starve your way out of a deficiency. The answer is to eat MORE of the right things that your body needs to fix it's obesity problem. And to avoid the things that are causing absorption problems.
This approach to curing obesity has been nearly 100% successful. It is extremely rare that obesity continues to be a problem once the property nutrients are added back into the diet.
Those nutrients don't come in a bottle either. They come in real foods... in very yummy foods.
It may seem ironic that you will need to eat more to weigh less, but that is only because we have been told a lie over and over and over. We have been told the lie that we are fat because we eat too much.
That lie makes no sense. Animals don't need food restriction. They eat as much as they want without getting fat.
Most countries don't restrict how much they eat and they remain slim and healthy.
It isn't how much you eat... it is WHAT you eat. You are obese because of something you aren't eating... a deficiency.
You aren't obese because you eat too much. When you eat too much, it's because your body is craving more food, attempting to get the nutrients it's lacking.
If you give your body those nutrients, it will turn off that hunger signal and you will stop eating all of the time.
That is how a non-diseased animal body works. Hunger is a single that you need some kind of nutrient. It turns off when you get that nutrient.
That is further evidence that you are lacking some nutrient. If you feel hungry all of the time it is because your body is screaming for missing nutrients.
I personally lost over 100 pounds and am now in the normal weight range by following this plan.
I know of thousands of others who have done the same. It really is common sense once you realize that you aren't obese because you eat too much... you are obese because you don't eat enough of the things your body needs to repair the obesity.
